WaterNSW monitoring inflows across inland major dams
11 OCTOBER 2022WaterNSW is monitoring and managing storage inflows into major dams across regional NSW, with inflows continuing into Burrendong, Wyangala, and Burrinjuck dams.
Burrinjuck Dam on the Murrumbidgee River is continuing to spill, along with Wyangala on the Lachlan, though inflow rates at both sites are falling from their high weekend peaks.
Dam storages (gigalitres per day):
- Burrinjuck 104.3% - Inflows 42GL/day - releasing 60GL/day
- Blowering 99.2% - Inflow 1.5GL/day – releasing 5GL/day
- Burrendong 139.7% - Inflow 30-40GL/day – releasing 50GL/day
- Wyangala 101.4% - Inflow 20-30GL/day – releasing 50GL/day
- Keepit 99.1% - Inflow 15GL/day – releasing zero 10GL/day
- Copeton 99.5% - Inflow 10GL/day – releasing 12GL/day
