1 NOVEMBER 2024

WaterNSW encourages customers to have their say as part of IPART’s public consultation process on the 2025-2030 pricing proposal.

Submissions opened on 1 November 2024 on an issues paper prepared by IPART based on the WaterNSW proposal. IPART will also hold public hearings in November 2024.

IPART will publish its draft decision in March 2025, and final decision in June 2025.

WaterNSW has considered all options in keeping costs as low as possible.

During its largest and most far-ranging engagement and consultation process to date, WaterNSW spent almost two years listening and seeking input from customers, peak industry bodies and the community, focusing on highly valued services and reducing costs for the 2025-2030 proposal.

IPART, as the independent pricing regulator, will closely review the WaterNSW pricing proposal to determine whether it provides value for money, is in the long-term interests of customers, and delivers the outcomes customers need and want.
