Licensing info clinic in Wentworth

24 MARCH 2025

WaterNSW specialist staff will be in Wentworth next month to assist customers in the Lower Murray Darling with their applications and answer questions on navigating regulations.

The session will run from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday 2 April at Wentworth Community Hall, 66 Darling Street, Wentworth.

Customers will be able to either drop-in at any time or book a 30-minute appointment throughout the day to discuss:

  • Licenses, applications and approvals
  • Non-urban metering regulations
  • Lodging groundwater bore applications, including Basic Landholder Rights applications in the WaterNSW customer portal
  • Farm dams/harvestable rights dams
  • Flood works approvals.

The Wentworth session is one of several outreach information clinics targeting areas without the opportunity for face-to-face appointments in nearby WaterNSW offices.

“We know some customers don’t have ready access to a WaterNSW regulatory experts to receive face-to-face assistance on matters important to running their businesses,” WaterNSW Executive Manager Corporate Affairs, Clair Cameron, said.

“These outreach sessions are about making that opportunity available, as well as hearing from our customers about their local perspective on issues that are topical in their area,” Clair said.

Reserve an appointment in advance.
