WaterNSW to host licensing info session in Woolgoolga

24 MARCH 2025

WaterNSW specialist staff will be in Woolgoolga next month to assist customers on the Mid North Coast with their applications and answer questions on navigating regulations.

Staff from the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water (DCCEEW) will also be present to advise on the newly released non-urban metering regulations, and how they may apply to you.

The session will run from 9am to 4pm on Thursday 3 April at C.Ex Woolgoolga, 18 Boundary Street, Woolgoolga.

Customers will be able to either drop-in at any time or book a 30-minute appointment throughout the day to discuss:

  • Licenses, applications and approvals
  • Non-urban metering regulations
  • Lodging groundwater bore applications including Basic Landholder Rights applications in the WaterNSW customer portal
  • Farm dams/harvestable rights dams
  • Understanding licence conditions.

The Woolgoolga session is one of a number of outreach information clinics targeting areas without the opportunity for face-to-face appointments in nearby WaterNSW offices.

“We know some customers don’t have ready access to a WaterNSW regulatory experts to receive face-to-face assistance on matters important to running their businesses,” WaterNSW Executive Manager Corporate Affairs, Clair Cameron, said.

“These outreach sessions are about making that opportunity available, as well as hearing from our customers about their local perspective on issues that are topical in their area,” Clair said.

Reserve an appointment in advance.
