Blue-green Algae Red Alert (High Alert) warning for Quipolly Dam been lifted

The Red Alert level warning issued by WaterNSW for a high level of potentially toxic blue-green algae has been lifted for Quipolly Dam near Quirindi in the Barwon region. This site is now on Amber Alert for blue-green algae. This storage is managed by Liverpool Plains Shire Council.

Blue-green algae Red Alert warning for Lake Cargelligo Town Water Supply and Boatshed been cleared

The red alert warning for blue-green algae at Lake Cargelligo Town Water Supply and Lake Cargelligo Boatshed has been lifted after two consecutive algal samples showed levels below the red alert threshold. The sites are now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

Blue-green algae Red Alert issued for the Hunter River upstream of Glenbawn Dam

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Hunter River upstream of Glenbawn Dam, from Belltrees to the upper reaches of the lake. The red alert does not apply to Lake Glenbawn.
