WaterNSW has issued a red alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Lake Tandure near Menindee.

Blue-green algae Red Alert warning for Carcoar Dam and Belubula River downstream of Carcoar Dam has been cleared.

The red alert warning for blue-green algae at Carcoar Dam and Belubula River downstream of Carcoar Dam has been lifted after two consecutive algal samples showed levels below the red alert threshold. The sites are now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

Blue-green Algae Red Alert warning for Chaffey Dam has been lifted

The Red Alert level warning issued by WaterNSW for a high level of potentially toxic blue-green algae has been lifted for Chaffey Dam near Tamworth in the Barwon Region. This site is now on Amber Alert for blue-green algae.

Red, blue-green algal warning lifted for Lake Cawndilla near Menindee

The preliminary red alert warning for blue-green algae that was issued for Lake Cawndilla near Menindee, was lifted following the laboratory algal report which indicates that the lake is not on red alert for blue-green algae. Lake Cawndilla is now on amber alert for blue-green algae.

Blue-green algae Red Alert for Pindari Dam storage

WaterNSW has issued a Red Alert advisory for high levels of potentially toxic blue-green algae for Pindari Dam near Inverell. This alert has been issued based upon analysis of satellite imagery. Algae samples will be collected to confirm the alert status.
